SPANISH FOOTBALL FEDERATION OFFERS LOANS TO LOWER CLUBS TO PAY BILLS

The President of the Royal Spanish Football Federation, Luis Rubiales on wednesday announced loans for lower level clubs in difficulty due to coronavirus to enable them pay their bills.

He made the statement at a press briefing which he said that semi professional and non-professional clubs in men and women's indoor and outdoor football will have a line of credit of up to $4.3 million considering their wage bills.

He stated that the loans will be interest free and repaid within two years.

Rubiales also repeated that he hopes  the season will be completed because, "i want to give clubs fighting relegation the chance to save themselves, and those in a position to win promotion the chance to earn it."
